Alrighty I know I haven't posted in 4EVER! :P 00psie! But here's my blocking for my 2 character assignment in Animation Mentor. I still need to refine and add some more textures and need to continue to block out other area of the characters such as the facial expressions. I'll do my best to post a weekly update on the progress :P enjoy!!!

  1. Nice job! I don't have too much to comment on it. I like how everything feels.

I think she can have a more serious/upset look in her expression when she says "I don't WANT IT... to GO aWAY." There's some tension in the audio that you can get in your performance... don't think you need to change her poses, just her expression. Right now she's too sad for what the audio is giving you.

Also, I think you should add like 20 more frames to the end so we could have a beat to soak in her expression. It cuts too fast.

When she turns around in the beginning (around frame 75) have her head turn first before her body turns. That'll break up the motion so the entire body doesn't turn at the exact same time.

The only other note I've got for ya' is to strengthen some of the hand poses. Like George's hands in the beginning, her hands when she starts walking to go passed George, and her's again right before George grabs her hand. Bishop has pretty bulky hands, they might have a setting to scale them down a little, give that a try cause her hands are feeling a bit too masculine.

Lookin' good Alma! If you want more feedback on your next pass lemme know. Cya laters!!
